BASC has announced it’s headline sponsorship of this year’s Yorkshire Post Rural Awards, which take place in Harrogate on 28 September 2023.
Now in their 7th year, the Yorkshire Post Rural Awards recognise and celebrate a cross section of businesses, estates, farms and individuals that have excelled as part of the rural community across Yorkshire.
The overriding emphasis of this year’s Yorkshire Post Rural Awards is centred on what is currently happening on farms, rural businesses and with rural events, but this does not restrict any rural business from being nominated for their work over many years.
These awards seek to give recognition to the work of estates, shoots, farms, businesses or countryside events, regardless of their size.
Duncan Thomas, BASC’s regional director, said: “BASC is delighted to continue its association with the Yorkshire Post Rural Awards as headline sponsor again this year. The awards are a fantastic celebration of the talent, dedication and years of hard work put in by rural people and businesses from across the county. We’re looking forward to seeing another strong year of nominations and urge everyone to get behind their local rural heroes and put them forward for an award.”
Award nominations can be made by anyone. So, whether you want to put forward an outstanding person or business, your local shoot, or a show or event; someone who you admire from afar; a neighbour, friend or family member, head to the rural awards website today.
Nominations are open now and close at midnight on 29 July.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony which is being held at Pavilions of Harrogate on 28 September 2023. Find out more information and book tickets to the event here.
