They will learn about the practical aspects of reloading rifle cartridges and gain insight into the basic equipment required to produce safe reloads.

The course also covers brass inspection and preparation, priming methods, powder charging, bullet seating and how to safely disassemble home loads, when required. The candidates will also learn how to recognise pressure signs in home-loaded ammunition.
On day two, candidates will test their loads on the range in a safe and controlled environment, where they can get the most from their equipment by developing the optimum load for their rifles.
Ammunition will be checked on a chronograph, allowing the user to develop drop charts and ballistic data. This will prove useful in both hunting and target shooting.
